A little behind...

I didn't realize how crazy my life would be the last week! I'm so behind on my 30 day challenge. I thought it would be pretty simple to just post everyday but i seem to be not very good at it! So once the Christmas holidays are over I'll continue on these posts and just be a little over the 30 day challenge that i should be doing!

Day 6.....

So there are not too many animals that I would love as a pet but there is one pet that I would LOVE to have and it is

KITTENS but not just any regular kittens but ones that stay little FOREVER. I don't really like when kittens grow up so I would just want one that would stay little and cute forever. That is my kind of pet!

Day 5.....

I'm not a big fan of posting pictures of myself but here is one of me about 2 years ago. It makes me miss my long blond hair that I used to have. I feel like I look a lot different now than I did two years ago. It's amazing how much we can change over a short amount of time.

Day 4.....

So I can't pick only one Best Friend. I have a few and I love them all and I don't know what I would do without them! They have all benefited by life, especially those that have just become my best friends now in college and also those from when I was younger that I have known all of my life! Day 3.....

So this one is going to be kind of a difficult one for me. I have really not thought a lot about what my perfect first date would be. I've never been the one to sit down and figure out how my perfect date would would go but I'll give it a try




For this perfect date I would want to go to a fun restaurant, like the new one we have in town called Sammys that has some delicious food and it's just a fun place to be! So we can just talk and get to know each other better. I know that probably sounds pretty cheesy but I think it would be a fun way to start off a date! Then we would go back to his apartment and maybe play some fun random games that would make us laugh and just have a fun night. Then that would be about it. I'm not one to have an extravagant night planned out. Just a fun and relaxed night that doesn't have any of the pressure of a first day.

Day 2.....

This is what I had the joy to wake up and eating this morning! I love pancakes but I usually never have enough time to make them in the morning. So this morning we had our nice elder quorum make us some delicious pancakes. They were so good and it was so nice of them to think of us and make us a nice breakfast!

Day 1...

My day today has been pretty good. At the beginning it wasn't the best but it has turned into a not to bad day! I only went to 1 out of my 3 classes which was pretty awesome. Then I went out to lunch to the Crossroads with Mary and Lawren my roommates and it was quite fun! Now just a relaxing night not doing anything just chillin in the apartment and i can't wait.

TImes are going to change...

So nothing really exciting has happened in my college life this semester. Its been your average semester. I have really awesome roommates. School has been okay but that is normal. I only have a few weeks left before it seems like everything is going to change or they already have started changing. It seems like life just likes to throw giant surprises at you or life just continues to move on sometimes faster than you want it too. Once this semester I will be losing one of my bestest friends I've made up here. It seems like I've known Kristen for a LONG time. We've known each other since the end of April and we have had soooooooo many fun memories together and I'm going to miss her very much. She is going on a mission and I'm so proud of her and all that she has gone through and how far she has come. I don't think I could have the strength to do something as big as go on a mission but I know it will be an amazing experience for her. I can't wait to write her letters and send her fun packages to where ever she goes! I'll be able to see her in 2 years and I bet it will go by fast! It's going to be weird not living with her since we've lived together since April but I know it will be okay and we're all where we will supposed to be. I'll also be losing little miss Brooklyn but only for 4 months to stupid DisneyWorld(I only hate them because they rejected me from the first interview which i have no idea how that is possible.....) Even though 4 months is still a long time and I will miss her dearly she will still be coming back to me.... and hopefully she won't abandon me by getting married ;) It has been an amazing semester and I'm sad to see things change but I know everything will be okay and everything is changing for a reason.

FHE Carving Pumpkins!!!

This last Monday we went to our FHE brother's house and carved 3 GIANT pumpkins! It was super fun and we love our awesome FHE brothers! They are way awesome and funny! Here are a few pictures of that night. We each paired up with one of the guys and picked something to carve in our pumpkins!

It was a super fun night! We had so much fun and our pumpkins turned out great!

Ward Halloween Party!!!

This past Monday we went to our Ward Halloween Party which was a murder mystery dinner! I'm part of the ward activities committee so I helped plan and get everything ready! It was a way fun party and we got to dress up in Halloween cards and we got free food which is always a plus! Me and three of my other roommates decided to dress up as fairies so here are some pics of us all dressed up and ready to go to the party!

Utah Trip!!

Last weekend we went to Salt Lake City for just a fun get away from the big city of Rexburg! Me and my three other roommates left last Friday to go to SLC and on the way we stopped in Logan to watch Brooke's cousins UVU baseball game. It was super fun! Then that next day we went to Temple Square and watched the Joseph Smith movie which was really good! Than we went to In N Out Burger which was really good! The rest of the day we went around visiting old friends which was really good but later on that night I didn't feel so well so we decided to leave SLC and head back to the Rexburg but besides that it was a really fun weekend! Birthday Extravaganza!!!

We had an epic birthday party for my 19th birthday!! It was super fun and i loved the whole day!! First we slept in until 11:00 and then we went and laied out in Porter Park for a couple of hours and completely got burnt! It was bad but totally worth it! Than that night we took Joe's creeper van down to IF to go to Red Robin for dinner! It was super good food especially since my burger was free! Unfortunately when we were there our waiter was told that is was my birthday and they made me wear balloon ears(pictured below) and they sang to me and gave my a sundae! It was embarrassing but really fun at the same time! It was a really good night! Than we went to my parents house for some delicious ice cream cake that my mom made me! I got sang to again which was not bad since most of us couldn't carry a tune! Than I opened some presents and got Gossip Girl season 3 which i was super pumped about, than we headed back to Rexburg and it was a super fun night and a great birthday! I'm so glad that everyone made my night so much fun and I had probably one of my best birthdays so far! I loved every moment of it! Especially the food was really good!

An adventure to Yellowstone!!

This last Sunday we took a random trip to yellowstone!! One of our friends Matt still had a ticket so we were able to get in to the park for free! So once church got out we headed in an awesome van(pictured below) and went off! There was about 9 of us who went and it was a pretty eventful trip! We drove around a lot and it was a nice day when we walked about but then it got super rainy and so we headed back to Rexburg! It was a fun eventful day and here are a few pictures of me and my roomies in front of random parts of the park!

Fun at the duck races!!!

Me and my roommate Brooke went down to Idaho Falls to go with my parents and nephews to the Snake River for the Duck Races!! It was super fun! My parents bought us delicious burgers at Arctic Circle and then we went down to the river and walked around and waited for them to drop the ducks! It was a fun eventful day and here are some pictures we took there!

New Apartment.....

This break has been super nice and i love not having to go to school!! Except that I have a job but i need the money so i'm okay with it for now!! Well as more exciting things happen I'll keep you up to date!!

Finals Week.....

Unfortunately the horrible Finals Week has come upon me. I have 5 tests to take in the next 4 days of school. This is the time of the semester that I hate and love at the same time! It's the time when I finally finish my classes and get ready for an awesome 7 week break till Fall Semester starts in September! It is also a sad part of the semester because (this may sound very depressing) new people you've met and become close friends with leave and sometimes you never see them again! It really does sound depressing but I have loved this semester and going on many adventures with the roomies and boys! :) It feels like I just wrote my post about finally getting up here to start the new semester and now it's almost over. I have been looking back at all the fun times I've had and I can't wait for new and more exciting adventures I will go on through out the rest of college! Sorry there is no pictures, I really need to start bringing my camera to document all the exciting adventures I go on in my life! Can't wait until Friday than I will officially be a Sophomore in college and I can't believe I will not ever be a freshmen in school again! It is pretty exciting!

Epic week..

in the big town of Rexburg!! This week has been way crazy. There has been so much stuff that I have done this week it is crazy! It feels good just to relax at home and do nothing today. We did some pretty fun stuff this week but sadly I don't have any pictures to document it! On wedneday me and my roomie Kristen went to a bon fire out in the sand dunes and met some really awesome (and hott) guys there! We roasted starburst(which sound gross but they are pretty good!!) and made s'mores which is always fun! :) Then on Thursday we went to a relief society activity and did another bon fire and on Friday we had a ward party if Idaho Falls and had an actually roasted pig which looked gross but tasted amazing!!!! Then we hung out with a couple of our FHE brothers and watched a really weird movie and drove around in one of their creeper van! It was a pretty eventful night! Then the BEST part of my week was going boating with my roomies and a couple of my FHE brothers! I actually tried wake boarding even though i wasn't very good! I still almost managed to get up on the board a couple of times! Then we ate lunch and then we went tubing which was insane! One of the guys Derek was driving the boat and made us get big air and i screamed and held on for dear life the whole time!!! but it was still pretty fun! Sadly I forgot my camera at home so we couldn't document us actually wake boarding because that would have been sweet! It's been a good week and now I can't wait to see what is in store for this week! We already have our Friday night planed out and we are going to an event called Comic Frenzy to see my friend Noah be a comedian! It will be pretty exciting but soon school will be over and finals will soon be here which i am sad to see all my good friends leave but i'm staying up here for the 7 week break and i can't wait to just work and party and have no homework to worry about!! Well hopefully my next post will have some pictures! I need to start remembering to bring my camera so i can document all my fun adventures here in college!!!

Nothing too exciting....

Has happened in my life lately! It's just been an average semester. Just school and random activities going on. The only exciting thing that is going on is having boy drama!! Even though it is not that exciting at all.. Me and two of my other roommates are having your average boy crushes that are filling our lives with drama. It seems up at this school boys don't like to ask girls on dates which is not good for us! It's sad that this is the only excitement we have experienced the last couple of weeks besides the excitement of school! which is not exciting at all... I guess some other exciting activities that have happened are we went on a bike ride for FHE! One of my FHE brothers owns a bike shop here in town and let us all borrow a bike and we went to this Nature Park and road around a pond a couple times it was pretty fun! Sadly there is no pictures to go along with this post but hopefully something exciting happens here soon so my posts won't be so boring!

It's been a pretty eventful week this week! I had 4 tests to take and we had a surprise party for my roommate Kristen! I conspired with Hanah to have a small get together with a couple of our FHE brothers and we had some delicious cake and ice cream! She had no idea when she came home from getting snow cones with Hanah that there would be 3 of our FHE brothers yelling surprise when she came in! We were all glad she didn't figure it out so it was a nice surprise for her! It's been a pretty crazy semester and i can't believe it is half way over! I will soon be a Sophomore in college and i can't believe it but I'm so excited to not be a freshmen anymore!!

FHE BBQ Birthday Party!!!!

So this last Monday we had an awesome FHE BBQ birthday party for my roommate Hanah. We had the party in the La Jolla Lounge and our FHE brothers came over and BBQ outside! They cooked really good burgers! IT was a really fun night, one of the best FHE's I've had in a while!!

So it's been a while....

Since I last posted something on my blog!! These last couple of weeks have gone by SUPER fast! Even though it seems like I have been at school for FOREVER!!! Nothing too exciting has happened since I have been up here though.. Just tons and tons of homework! Including my horrible Computer Science class!! I completely suck at it.. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday i sit in class (which has 27 guys and 3 girls :) ) have this confused face just staring at the teacher who sounds like he is speaking in Chinese. It is horrible... but there is a good part of the class... and his name is Noah! He is the best buddy i could ever have in that class!! He helps me understand all the assignments so he is an awesome helper!! Without him I'm pretty sure I would fail the class and that is no bueno for my GPA. But besides that I'm doing pretty well in school! I'm hoping it is going to be a good semester and when more fun stuff happens I'll post it to let ya know!

It feels good to be back in the Burg

I'm finally back in Rexburg and it feels amazing!! Flying on the independent plane once again!! The only part that isn't fun is starting up school again! I don't start until Tuesday so I have a little time to relax! I moved in with my BFF Hanah and we got the biggest room in the apartment! Woohoo! We are moved in completely and now just waiting for the fun to start! I've met all of my roommates they are pretty awesome! There is only 5 of us instead of the usual 6 but thats okay! I'm hoping it will be an awesome semester and can't wait to start school! (Sort of...) :) I'm hoping to meet to people and party alot so as things happen I'm keep my blog updated so everyone can know what College Life is really like :)

It's Official...

I finally have changed out of my horrible interior design major!! Its felt like its been long over do. Even though I currently am a General Studies major (its basically for those who have no clue what they want to study for the rest of their time in college) it isn't technically true for me. I have some idea of what I want to major in but it isn't quite set in stone yet... I've at least narrowed it down to 2 choices which are Computer Science ( a lot of math which doesn't sound like very much fun but hopefully it would be worth it!) and then CIT (Computer Information Technology, which is kind of like the same thing but not so much math.) It sounds like a lot of work but what is college without TONS of homework and a lot of thinking. :) SO hopefully by the end of the coming spring semester I will officially be in a major that i will love for the rest of my 3.5 years of colleges and my life. Only a little over 5.5 weeks until I go back and I couldn't be more excited!

Im still riding on the unemployment train

I CANT find a job! I have applied soooo many place and I can't seem to land a job...anywhere. Basically I do NOTHING all day! I need money so I have taken up watching Magen's kids when her and John need a break. Which is more then they can afford to pay me! They want time off all the time! Ha ha ha anyway this blog is about me! Here is a job I could do since I'm currently in the interior design program. These products would be great in anyone's home. It's about time...

I started my blog! Okay maybe Magen helped me do most of it...but I will be starting to post all my fun adventures at college despite the fact I'm on my off track living at home with the padres! This picture is of me and one of my old roommates Paige from college! Gotta love it!
